Role Purpose
We are seeking an Associate Director with strong experience in EU public affairs, including experience navigating the EU legislative process, engaging with key stakeholders, and providing strategic advice on policy developments impacting various industries.
In particular, the successful candidate will have experience in navigating environment / climate change / circular economy policy issues. While EU public affairs will be a focus area, the role also requires a versatile skill set to drive broader integrated communications initiatives across diverse issues.
The Associate Director will develop and oversee a significant portion of the agency’s client servicing portfolio, ultimately accountable for the management of clients and the team members who support these clients.
The Associate Director is the strategic lead on their clients and campaigns, responsible for ensuring that all client servicing is maintained at Aequitas’ award-winning standards, and that project costs and all other overheads are maintained within the agreed budgets and managed at the desired profit level.
The Associate Director will be a leader in the business, bringing innovation to our ways of working and development to the team, upskilling staff both through formal training and informal on-the-job learning opportunities.
Aequitas Global has a strong tradition of growth through referral and organic growth of retained client accounts. The Associate Director will ensure delivery of high quality work to existing clients and where possible identify and secure opportunities for growth.

Salary: £75,000 – £85,000 / Year
Location: Aequitas Global operates as a primarily remote organisation; team members work predominantly from home, with flexible opportunities to work from co-working spaces in London. The role may involve some national or international travel. The successful candidate must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Due to the number of applications, we will only be able to respond to those who have successfully reached the interview stage.
